Leanne Eisen is a visual artist based out of Toronto who uses procedure, perspective, and scale to re-frame her subject matter; often playing with chance operations, allowing for unpredictable results. She has exhibited in Amsterdam, Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Moscow, and Toronto and has been published in Canada, The U.S., Ireland, Italy, Spain, and Argentina. She was a winner of Magenta Foundation's Flash Forward Emerging Photographers in 2010 and 2013 and took part in the thematic residency “Something in the Water. A Search for the Turn of the Backwash”, led by Adam Chodzko at The Banff Centre.
